Objectives :

	Sharing of any Resources such as - funds/ expertise/ knowledge/ skills/ manpower/ respondents/ culture / data
	Data exchange for analysis and broader applications
	Intercultural exchange and greater understanding at global levels
	Eventually leading to Joint publications and presentations.
	Visits, partly working in the other country- International exchange programmes.

Process :

Completely distant or Partly distant - partly contact or completely contact.

Examples :

	Surveys/Experiments to be conducted Interregional, Inter-countries, Inter-cultures.
	Data exchange for analysis and broader applications.
	Publishing papers, books etc jointly
	Publishing papers, books etc jointly

Submission details :

Those interested in the above international exchange programme for short term or long term projects should send in a detailed proposal stating

Area of education/ research- (eg. Foods, Nutrition and Dietetics, Textiles & Clothing, Human Development, Community Resource Management, Communication and Extension Education, etc.),

History of your Organization /Department including contact details (postal address, telephone and fax numbers, email address, website address).

Strengths of your Organization / Department.

Curriculum Vitea of the Proposer along with photographs.

Duration and Kind of Project/ Course you propose to undertake (Title, Objectives, Methodology, Extent of Involvement expected with respect to academic and other resources).

Any other details found essential.

10 minutes will be provided for oral presentation in a special session for ‘international linkages’ and written proposals will also be permitted for circulation to delegates provided the proposal (soft copy) is received via email before 30th May 2009.
